Project for the rehabilitation of Pavilion No. 12. Carlos III Health Institute

• Description: It is a comprehensive rehabilitation of the building, replacing all of its facilities, not altering the existing heights nor the previous volume. The building has a rectangular volume of an approximate area of 800 m2, and total built area between the four floors of 2,966 m2. The rehabilitation requires a strengthening of horizontal and vertical structure and the replacement, in some cases, of load-bearing walls with metal pillars.
