Extension of the Levante dam of Malaga

• Description: The extension of the dock to adopt the configuration of vertical dam is made up of 30 caissons that occupy a length of 1.2 km. On the side of the dock a berthing line of 800 m is built with a draft of 20 m. For its execution 2,301,703 m3 of dredging in trench, 614,815 tonnes of breakwater in mantles, 1,130,113 m3 of random fill and 10,980,559 kg of steel in frames are used.
