Phase I of the Extension of the 1986 world swimming championship centre.

• Description: The work consists of the construction of a new building with three floors with a surface area of 2,741 m2. In the basement are the sports facilities and complementary facilities, while on the ground and first floor there are the areas for public use and teaching activities. An excavation of approximately 7,800 m3 was made for the facilities and a reinforced concrete structure and an outer enclosure of curtain wall and aluminium prefabricated panels was used.
