The Plan benefits the handicapped family members of Sando professionals.
\nSince 2008, the Sando Fundaci\u00f3n has been involved in the Family Plan, a project for the social and professional integration of handicapped people. In 2010, six family members of Sando Group employees benefitted from the Plan in Alicante, Malaga and Seville. <\/p>\n
The integration of those suffering from some type of handicap is one of the main objectives of the Sando Fundaci\u00f3n as part of its internal action plan. The Family Plan promotes the social and professional integration of the handicapped, oriented towards the immediate family members of Sando employees. <\/p>\n
In 2010, six people benefitted from the Family Plan. A personalised program was developed for each, focussing on the key aspects of their circumstances, including family and social life, education and training, technical assistance and treatment, recreation and social services, etc. <\/p>\n
The beneficiaries of the plan were provided with a reference person and support. The support person offered orientation on possible treatments, specialists, technical assistance, training programs, as well as the organisation of social and recreational activities. The plan is designed to prevent isolation, anxiety and disappointment. <\/p>\n
Among the beneficiaries of the Plan was a child of six in Alicante, the son of a Sando employee, was provided with a personalised plan oriented towards water sports and activities. <\/p>\n
In Malaga, another two beneficiaries, aged nine and twenty three, received assistance with personalised psychological therapy and a comprehensive employment search plan, respectively. <\/p>\n
Additionally, in Seville, three family members of Sando employees benefited from the Foundation\u2019s Family Plan. A child of three years received hydro and physiotherapy. The wife of an employee benefited from an IT training program while another child of eleven received physiotherapy and a computer course. <\/p>\n
The Sando Fundaci\u00f3n, through its association with the Adecco Foundation, creates initiatives to improve the social and professional circumstances of the handicapped though personal support and by raising awareness among Sando personnel. The Foundation also aims to improve the professional circumstances of Sando personnel and help achieve a balance in their personal and professional lives.<\/p>\n
