The roadworks, which have taken seven and a half months to complete, consist of four lanes and three roundabouts
\nThe construction company, Sando, has completed the widening of the road linking Seville and Brenes. This new road, which belongs to the Municipal Company for Housing, Land and Equipment in Seville (EMVISESA), has been tested and widely used over the last few weeks.<\/p>\n
For this project, Sando has had to substitute the old road for a new section of road 650 metres in length with a total width of 34.5 metres. The stretch has two traffic lanes in each direction, with a width of 3.5 metres each, separated by a paved central reservation of the same dimension.<\/p>\n
The work also consisted in building paved areas on both sides with a width of five metres, as well as the construction of three roundabouts (including the one at the Super North ring road), and irrigation systems, as well as all the planting of gardens alongside the entire length of the road. Two of the roundabouts, located on the urban stretch of road, have had traffic lights installed. <\/p>\n
The new road also has a bicycle lane on each pavement, underground drainage installations, telecommunications, electricity, drinking water supply and public lighting.<\/p>\n
The stretch of roadworks, carried out by Sando, has completed the alteration work to widen the main road between Seville and Brenes and the extension of the roundabout connecting the former with the SE-20 urban ring road (the Super North ring road). This will impact favourably on the following areas in Seville: AP\u2014DMN-04 (Pino Montano North) and SUS-DMN-05 (Higuer\u00f3n North).<\/p>\n
The budget for the roadworks was 2.25 million euros, and the work was carried out in the allocated time period of seven and a half months.<\/p>\n
