\nThe construction company Sando has completed work on the \u201cProtective wall for passenger boats at Las Delicias Wharf\u201d in Seville Port. This project will allow boats, such as the Azamara Journey, which arrives in the capital today, to put into port safely.<\/p>\n
The work carried out by Sando consisted in building a solid wall, 363.72 metres in length, including several wrought-iron gates for vehicle access to the quay and six pedestrian gates along the ledge of the wall.<\/p>\n
The wall structure comprises a low reinforced concrete wall, 60 centimetres high, upon which are installed sections of wall with decorative wrought-iron work 4 metres in length and 2.10 metres high, connected by cast iron columns, 12.6 centimetres in diameter.<\/p>\n
This infrastructure increases safety in the surrounding area for passenger boats, making the protective perimeter more solid than it was before and establishing a mooring and inspection control point to inspect passengers\u2019 personnel effects and luggage on the Tinglado Azul which is located to the far North of Las Delicias Wharf.<\/p>\n
This project, promoted by Seville Port, was executed by Sando in under a month and a half.<\/p>\n
