Integral environmental services\" target=\"_blank\">Althenia Sando<\/a> has started a new public awareness campaign with the Department of Environment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.velezmalaga.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">V\u00e9lez-M\u00e1laga Town Council<\/a>: <strong>\u201cIn your house, you would clean it up&#8230; Our streets are your house\u201d.<\/strong> An <strong>awareness and civic<\/strong> initiative aimed at <strong>pet owners in the municipality<\/strong> to remind them of the importance of keeping their pets\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sando.com\/en\/specialisations\/cleaning-and-waste-management\" title=\"Waste management\" target=\"_blank\">Waste<\/a> off the streets.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/althenia-sando\" title=\"Integral environmental services\" target=\"_blank\">Althenia<\/a> Sando participates in this campaign as the current company managing the <strong>cleaning<\/strong> and <strong>urban waste collection service in V\u00e9lez-M\u00e1laga<\/strong>. A position in which he sees how these actions can be highly effective in the performance of his work, while contributing to his purpose: <strong>to promote healthy, sanitised, and sustainable spaces.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The main objective of this campaign is to encourage pet owners and citizens to take <strong>responsibility for the care of the public spaces<\/strong> in which they live. An initiative to disseminate the ordinance on public cleanliness and municipal management of urban waste, which establishes in article 28 that \u201cowners or keepers of animals must immediately remove and collect the excrement they do on the pavement, and must also clean the area they have soiled\u201d, the non-compliance of which carries certain penalties.<\/p>\n\n<p>At the campaign presentation, our colleague Javier Ruiz Arjona, head of the Althenia Service in V\u00e9lez-M\u00e1laga, thanked the council and town hall for their collaboration. He explained the purpose of this call for citizen responsibility: \u201cWe are looking for the cooperation of all citizens to ensure that the municipality is in the best possible condition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-althenia-sando-por-la-concienciacion-ciudadana-ambiental-y-social\"><strong>Althenia Sando for environmental and social awareness<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>As a company specialising in environmental solutions, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sando.com\/althenia-sando\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Althenia Sando<\/a> provides various services to public and private organisations, including cleaning and waste management. The experience accumulated in the execution of actions on public <a href=\"\/en\/specialisations\/transport-infrastructure\/transport-and-mobility\/roads\" title=\"We build and renovate highways, freeways and roads\" target=\"_blank\">Roads<\/a> has allowed it to verify the positive impact this type of campaign has on the behaviour of citizens.<\/p>\n\n<p>Therefore, in line with Sando\u2019s social responsibility strategy, Althenia launches this type of environmental awareness campaign for the public. Specifically with the Town Council of V\u00e9lez-M\u00e1laga, several have been carried out in recent years.
