{"id":49920,"date":"2025-02-06T11:18:22","date_gmt":"2025-02-06T11:18:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sando.com\/actualidad\/sando-construction-completes-the-nonduermas-sangonera-section-of-the-new-murcia-almeria-high-speed-line-for-adif-av"},"modified":"2025-05-05T06:57:00","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T06:57:00","slug":"sando-construction-completes-the-nonduermas-sangonera-section-of-the-new-murcia-almeria-high-speed-line-for-adif-av","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sando.com\/en\/actualidad\/sando-construction-completes-the-nonduermas-sangonera-section-of-the-new-murcia-almeria-high-speed-line-for-adif-av","title":{"rendered":"Sando Construction Completes the Nonduermas-Sangonera Section of the New Murcia-Almer\u00eda High-Speed Line for Adif AV"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sando Construction has completed the construction of the Nonduermas-Sangonera platform section within the new Murcia-Almer\u00eda High-Speed Line for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adifaltavelocidad.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adif Alta Velocidad.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>As announced by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adifaltavelocidad.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adif Alta Velocidad<\/a>, the completion of this 8.9 km section marks a significant milestone for the strategic Mediterranean Corridor axis in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula.<\/p>\n\n<p>Within the Nonduermas-Sangonera section, Sando Construction, in a joint venture with Aldesa, has executed several notable infrastructures. The most significant is the construction of an urban integration tunnel in Alcantarilla, measuring 996 metres in length.<br\/>To carry out this work, 56,000 m<sup>\u00b3<\/sup> of earth were excavated, 37,000 m<sup>\u00b3<\/sup> of concrete and 2,700 tonnes of steel were used.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The urban integration in Alcantarilla was achieved with a structure consisting of a false tunnel. During its execution, Sando Construction first built the screen walls, over which the concrete deck was then laid on the ground. Excavation was then carried out from each of the two tunnel entrances, culminating in the final break-through. Finally, the lower deck was completed, on which the tracks and lateral sidewalks will be placed.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Other significant works include the construction of a 25-metre-long viaduct to cross the Rambla de las Salinas, the redevelopment of the trackbed at the Murcia Cargas logistics complex, the execution of a 180-metre-long false tunnel to bypass the current Chinchilla-Cartagena conventional line, and the new Cercan\u00edas station in the municipality.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New Cercan\u00edas Station<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Located to the south of the town centre, Sando Construction has built a sustainable, modern, secure station fully integrated into its surroundings.<br\/>The station consists of a 191-square-metre passenger building, three 220-metre-long platforms, and an interior connecting footbridge equipped with elevators and stairs for universal accessibility. <\/p>\n\n<p>On the outside, the new Alcantarilla station includes a parking lot with capacity for 51 vehicles, 8 motorcycles, bicycle spaces, and spots for people with reduced mobility. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Railway Projects<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Currently, Sando Construction is also working on other <a href=\"\/en\/specialisations\/transport-infrastructure\/passenger-transport\/railway\" title=\"Construction of railroad tracks\" target=\"_blank\">Railway<\/a> projects in the country, including the construction of two new tracks and a platform at the iconic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sando.com\/actualidad\/sando-ejecutara-dos-nuevas-vias-y-un-anden-en-la-estacion-puerta-de-atocha\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Puerta de Atocha station in Madrid.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Through these actions, <a href=\"\/en\/sando-construccion\" title=\"Sando Construcci\u00f3n.
