Building resilient and innovative infrastructures\" target=\"_blank\">Sando Construcci\u00f3n<\/a> has been named one of Spain\u2019s ten leading companies in gender equality, according to the third edition of the Equality Ranking compiled by the <a href=\"https:\/\/womanforward.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Woman Forward Foundation.<\/a> Climbing to ninth position in this year\u2019s ranking\u2014led by pharmaceutical giant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bayer.com\/es\/es\/espana-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bayer<\/a>\u2014Sando is the sole representative from the construction sector. <\/p>\n\n<p>The Foundation acknowledged the company\u2019s efforts over the past year by awarding it the Special Bronze Award for its strides in fostering a fairer and more inclusive working environment.<\/p>\n\n<p>Sando\u2019s Human Resources Director, Nina Tercero, and technician Malene Pareja accepted the award during the ceremony from Pilar Menor, Senior Partner at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dlapiper.com\/es-es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DLA Piper.<\/a> This recognition reflects the company\u2019s significant progress in equality matters, marking a leap of over twenty places in the ranking. <\/p>\n\n<p>In her remarks, Nina Tercero underscored the strategic importance of leadership commitment in driving change across the organisation: \u201cIt\u2019s vital that management teams understand and communicate the concrete benefits of championing equality policies and that these efforts are made visible. Real transformation begins when senior leadership recognises that a company\u2019s reputation is intrinsically linked to its commitment to equality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Equality Ranking<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The third edition of the Equality Ranking is based on the Business Index for Equality and Competitiveness\u2014an analytical tool that enables organisations to assess their commitment to equality, pinpoint areas for improvement, and move towards more sustainable and inclusive governance models.<\/p>\n\n<p>During the event, the Foundation\u2019s President, Mirian Izquierdo, highlighted that advancing female leadership requires more than adopting affirmative action policies.
