Estepona WWTP

Extension and remodelling of the Estepona WWTP.

Contracting authority: Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, and the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Planning of the Andalusian Regional Government

The extension of the Estepona Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) consists of the construction, installation of equipment and commissioning of a new line for the treatment of a daily flow of 72,000 m3/day and the remodelling of the existing line for the treatment of a daily flow of 28,000 m3/day.

The Estepona WWTP triples its capacity with this intervention and incorporates tertiary treatment to supply 14.3 hectometres of reclaimed water.
