Design&Building refers to the execution of the design and construction tasks in the same construction company, managing the whole process and taking responsibility for it. Designing the project and then building the construction means carrying out a complete cycle that will always be more valuable and complete than only executing one of the two parts since the multidisciplinary teams working on this entire life cycle (from the project to the completion of the construction) have a complete vision of the infrastructure and will continuously optimise the design and construction at the same time, obtaining greater profitability in the final building or infrastructure.

The elaboration of engineering projects in construction is the most relevant phase because at that moment it is determined how the infrastructure will be, its distribution, the materials that will be placed and how its facilities and supporting structure will be. Developing this methodology allows the massive collection of data for the execution of works using BIM (Building Information Modelling) methodology, which facilitates the adaptation of the initial design of the architectural project to the spatial circumstances existing in reality.

Through this methodology, certified under the UNE 166001 standard: 2006 by innovation in use, Sando can execute refurbishment projects quickly, eliminating a high percentage of human error.
