The road surface reinforcement work on the A-44 road carried out by Sando Conservación y Energía aims to repair the road surface along the entire section. This is used for longitudinal cracks in the running surface of the outer rail, ruts and recessed areas with material detachment.

Except for the final wearing course, the new pavement is made of 25% recycled asphalt concrete obtained by milling the site The supply and paving of some 24,000 tonnes of hot mix asphalt is foreseen.

An action in line with the Sustainable Development Goals set at Sando Conservación y Energía and with the circular economy strategy.
