Fundación Sando has once again been present at the HRUM-Ibima Plataforma Bionand Football7 Solidarity Tournament, an already consolidated event that combines sport, science and social commitment. The entity has participated with a team made up of professionals from the group, thus maintaining its presence in the four editions held to date.
The championship, promoted by the Regional University Hospital of Malaga, Ibima Plataforma Bionand, the University of Malaga and the Junta de Andalucía, has managed to raise more than 16,000 euros in this fourth edition, entirely destined to biomedical research projects in the province. An initiative that reflects the ability of sport to generate a real impact on the health and well-being of society in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically with DSB 3: Good Health and Well-being.
For two days, the participating teams, from health, academic, institutional and business fields, have played the tournament in a spirit of solidarity. On Saturday, after the friendly match of veterans, the manager of Building of Sando Infraestructuras y Proyectos, José Mercado, participated in the presentation of trophies and awards.
The continued participation of the Sando Foundation in this tournament is part of its line of action aimed at supporting research and promoting initiatives with a positive social impact. A sustained commitment over time that contributes to strengthening knowledge and research in favor of society.
