The Sando foundation and the Malaga Foundation for Assistance to Cancer Patients (FMAEC) have signed a collaboration agreement to work together on initiatives aimed at supporting people affected by cancer and strengthening the healthcare resources that this entity offers in Malaga.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Sando Foundation by Esther Sánchez Manzano, managing director of the Sando Foundation, and by José Martínez de Aldecoa, president of FMAEC.
Within the framework of this agreement, Fundación Sando joins the fmaec100 Solidarity Club, an initiative made up of one hundred companies committed to the economic and social support of FMAEC. This project aims to guarantee the continuity of the foundation’s clinical team, an essential resource for the accompaniment and comprehensive care of people with cancer and their families.
Through this participation, Fundación Sando collaborates and contributes to FMAEC continuing to work for the improvement of emotional well-being, comprehensive care and psychological support for thousands of patients and their families.
Fundación Sando maintains a continuous commitment to entities dedicated to both the care and attention of people with cancer and to cancer research. In this sense, the Sando Foundation is also a founding patron of the CITAC Foundation (Foundation Center for Research and Advanced Cancer Therapies) which is an organization dedicated to promoting scientific and innovation projects in the fight against this disease.
With this new collaboration, the Sando Foundation reaffirms its social vocation and its continued support for initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life of patients, promoting research and strengthening support networks around cancer.
