Contracting authority: Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros (Insurance Compensation Consortium)

The project consists of the refurbishment of the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros building, located in the unique location of Paseo de la Castellana 44 Madrid. The intervention seeks to increase the value of the existing building, giving it a new urban image and incorporating a new architectural landmark into the city. This innovative design has been provided by the studios Álvarez Sala and Aybar-Mateos.

Sando Infraestructuras y Proyectos’ involvement allows for the optimization of the new building, making use of underutilized spaces such as lobbies and common areas to convert them into spaces available for office use and work areas. As part of the building’s comprehensive renovation, Sando Infraestructuras y Proyectos is implementing a set of efficiency measures to achieve the highest energy rating.
