The Marbella Town Hall has once again awarded Conacon Sando, in a joint venture, the service of maintenance, conservation and repair of real estate and infrastructures of the districts of the municipality of Marbella (Malaga). Specifically, Lot 1, for the next five years (three years under the contract and two years of extension). The service focuses on the districts of Nueva Andalucía, Marbella West, Marbella East and Las Chapas, in which different conservation tasks will be carried out, such as: maintenance of pavements, road surfaces, infrastructures and municipal real estate. These properties range from parks, Promenades and squares to sports facilities, schools and administrative offices in the ports. Among the works planned to be carried out are the conservation of pavements, the maintenance of bituminous or concrete paving, the installation of horizontal and vertical signage, beacons, defences and bollards, as well as conservation work on street furniture and road safety elements. The contract also covers additional intervention in all those public elements that may require action, such as works and actions of an immediate nature both on Roads and municipal buildings.
The road maintenance contract for Marbella joins the extension granted for the maintenance of the city of Malaga, the roads of Seville, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and San Agustín de Guadalix in Madrid, among others. These actions will revitalise and humanise these urban centres. Through this award, the Marbella Town Hall legitimises the technical capacity and specialisation of Conacon Sando to carry out the conservation and maintenance of urban ecosystems.
