Andaluza de Morteros, S.A.U. (Andemosa) has successfully renewed the full range of quality certifications that ensure compliance with legal requirements and guarantee the highest product standards in the market.
Specifically, AENOR has certified both the conformity of the production control for ready‑mixed concrete and the Structural Concrete Product Code at the company’s plants in Mijas Costa and Villarosa, both located in the province of Málaga.
These certifications are highly significant for the company, as they allow the supply of concrete bearing the AENOR mark to construction sites, bringing many advantages:
In addition, ENAC accredits this certification scheme, Spain’s National Accreditation Entity.
The conformity of production control for ready‑mixed concrete is regulated by Royal Decree 163/2019, which establishes that all concrete plants must undergo periodic evaluation by an independent body. This body verifies that the control of raw materials, storage, facilities, production, documentation and traceability meets the technical criteria set out in the Decree.
Following this evaluation, a certificate is issued, which must accompany the supply of the concrete product.
Likewise, the AENOR “N Mark” for structural concrete is an Officially Recognised Quality Mark (DCOR) by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.
This certification confirms the product meets the regulatory requirements established by the Structural Code approved under Royal Decree 470/2021 of 29 June, as well as additional voluntary technical specifications defined by the DCOR, which represent a higher level of quality.
The joint work of the Quality Systems Department and the Materials Division is key to ensuring the excellence of the concrete products Sando supplies to its clients.
