Sando has been awarded the “Empresa Malagueña Igualitaria y Conciliadora” distinction by the Social Rights, Diversity, Equality, and Accessibility Department of the Málaga City Council. Esther Sánchez, Executive Vice President of Sando, accepted the award in the Salón de los Espejos at Málaga City Hall, accompanied by Nina Tercero, Director of Human Resources, and Cintia Calles, Head of Labour Relations.
. The fourth edition of the awards, presented in the “Empresa Malagueña Igualitaria y Conciliadora” category, was presided over by Málaga’s Mayor, Francisco de la Torre. Other notable attendees included members of the jury and local government, such as Elisa Pérez de Siles, First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Commerce, Public Space Management, Promotion of Business Activity, and Strategic Public Procurement, as well as Francisco Cantos, Councillor for Social Rights, Diversity, Equality, and Accessibility.
Sando received the distinction alongside four other companies: Talento y Empleo, Frasán Servicios Medioambientales, Q-Fenix 25, and Coaching Airlines.

At Sando, the most valuable asset is its people. As such, the company has made a commitment to its workforce, which consists of more than 2,500 professionals, to ensure that they enjoy equal opportunities.
This philosophy is reflected through the company’s Equality Plan and its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policy, which is a cross-cutting document designed to promote an inclusive and equitable work environment where individual differences are valued and respected. Furthermore, Sando has a Human Rights Policy in place.
The attraction, retention, and development of talent are core pillars of the company, aligning with the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria and the defined sustainability strategy.
