The 9th National Padel Open in Chair, City of Seville Tournament has been held at the facilities of the Real Club Pineda in Seville. The event, organized by the IN Association (Association for the Promotion of Adapted Sports in Andalusia) and the CD Sporting Guadalquivir, has once again had the collaboration of the Sando foundation, which has supported this initiative since its first edition, reinforcing its commitment to accessible sport and inclusion.
During the three days of competition, some of the best national padel players in chair offered a great sporting show, demonstrating effort, self-improvement and camaraderie. The high participation and level of play showed the growing importance of adapted sport and its ability to bring positive values to the whole society.
The final faced the pairs formed by Luis Peinado and Edorta De Ante and Óscar Agea and Mimoun Laslaa, in a very disputed match that ended with the victory of Peinado and De Ante by 7-6 and 6-4, proclaiming themselves champions of this edition.
The awards ceremony was attended by the executive president of Sando, Luis Sánchez Manzano, accompanying the athletes and organizers, and highlighting the value of inclusive sport as a driver of opportunities and social development.
The IX Open Ciudad de Sevilla is thus consolidated as one of the most important events on the national calendar of chair padel. A work promoted by the IN Association from the beginning that affects the visibility and growth of adapted sport. With this project, Fundación Sando reaffirms its commitment to a more accessible, fair and inclusive society in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
