• Description: The extension of the Port of Garrucha focuses on the demolition of the breakwater for the construction of a larger one toward the north, the execution of a new esplanade of breakwater, dredging of areas required and other construction requirements. For this 251,870 m3 of sand, 195,800 m3 of dredging, 91,998 tonnes of rip rap and 114,121 tonnes of random fill are used.
